823 leads from Facebook and Instagram ads
From May 19, 2025 to November 5, 2026, All Green's Facebook and Instagram ads brought in 823 leads. A lead here is a homeowner who filled in the ad's quote form with their name, phone number and the work they need, counted once. Repeat submissions are excluded from targeting so the budget isn't spent on people who already asked.
Most of the leads came from one evergreen campaign aimed at homeowners in All Green's service area, with smaller tests for Bedford, Fall River and Porter's Lake. The town tests mostly cost more per lead than the main campaign, and we switched off the ones that didn't earn their place.
$8K to $65K a month
All Green went from $8K to $65K in monthly revenue across twelve months, January 2025 to January 2026. Facebook and Instagram ads were the main source of new work over that time.
The growth held. Work sold from January to October 2026 was 96% higher than in the same months of 2025, nearly double.
The tree service ads that worked
Two ads did most of the work. "The Classic Selfie", Liam talking to his phone camera on a job site, brought in 62 leads. "Wanna See Something Cool?", a short clip of a big piece of work with that line as the hook, brought in another 62. "Rain OR Shine", about turning up in bad weather, kept working through the wet months.
None of them are polished. They're the owner and the crew, on real jobs, talking like they would to a neighbor. That's the pattern we see on every tree company's account: homeowners are deciding whether they can trust you on their property, and a real face answers that faster than a designed graphic.
And the ones that didn't
Offers are fragile. Over the same winter, a "$100 off" ad brought in 18 leads, while a "$75 off" version brought in 8. Two versions of the same equipment ad brought in 21 leads and 4. A hiring ad got no leads at all, as you'd expect, and was switched off.
That's why we test several ads at once and judge each on its own numbers, instead of guessing which one will win.
Fresh ads and fast quotes doubled the return
We matched every month's ad leads to the work All Green sold from them, May 2025 to October 2026. In months with new ads running and quotes going out quickly, the work sold came to about 20 times the ad spend. In months with tired ads and slow quotes, it was about 10 times. Each factor accounted for roughly half of the difference.
Two other findings surprised us. Cost per lead had almost no relationship with sales: some of the most expensive lead months closed the most work. And the share of jobs lost to another company rose sharply in months when fewer quotes went out within a week. The cheapest improvement to an ad account is often the time it takes to send the quote. Our speed to lead guide covers a routine a small team can keep.
Ads wear out, so new ones go in every month
Over 18 months All Green's account has run more than 20 different ads: selfies, job clips, seasonal offers, equipment, and town-by-town versions. Even the best ones slow down after a few weeks in front of the same homeowners, so we rest them and bring them back later rather than letting the cost per lead creep up.
How we run Facebook ads for tree companies
New creative every month, filmed on real jobs. Lead forms that ask what work is needed, so the crew knows what they're quoting. Past leads excluded from targeting. Each ad judged on cost per lead and on the jobs it produced. The full approach is on our Facebook ads for tree service companies page, and the wider mix is on our tree service advertising page.

FAQ
Questions tree service owners ask
Are Facebook ads worth it for a tree service?
In months with fresh ads and fast quotes, All Green sold about 20 times its ad spend in work. Your result depends on your market, your offer and how fast you quote. Our ad budget calculator works out the budget from the jobs you want.
Could we get the same result?
Every market is different, which is why we start with a 100% free trial: two weeks, no cost, no commitment, so you see the leads before you pay anything. We work with one tree company per service area.
