CBL was absolutely amazing! We had a large, inaccessible tree in our backyard that was badly damaged during a storm. They came out the very next day to assess the situation and quickly arranged for it to be removed that same day.
Their team was professional, efficient, and incredibly responsive during a stressful situation. The removal was completed safely and much faster than we expected. We couldn’t be happier with the service and highly recommend CBL to anyone in need of tree removal!

Joe from CBL looked at my 60 foot high dead tree that I needed down, and told me in the first 30 seconds how he would fell the tree. Once setup with re-directional pully attached to his logging machine Joe and his machine operator had the tree downed in no time exactly as planned! In 4 hours they had it all cut to 14 inch long pieces and stacked in my wood rack. The loose brush they took away in their special arborist vehicle. Well done!

How much does tree removal cost?

It depends on the tree’s size, location and condition. Quotes are free, in person and no obligation.

Do I need a permit to remove my tree?

In the City of Peterborough, yes, for trees 7.5 cm or wider in diameter. We handle the whole permit process.

Can you remove trees near buildings or fences?

Yes. We specialize in challenging removals, using rigging or cranes to minimize damage.

What happens to the wood and branches?

We chip and haul away all debris, unless you’d like to keep the wood for firewood or mulch.

How quickly can you come out to remove a fallen tree?

We prioritize emergency calls and we’re available 24/7.

Can my tree be saved, or does it need to be removed?

Not always removal. Pruning or deadwood removal may be enough. If a tree is severely damaged or unsafe, we’ll say so in your assessment.
